Arculus Chief Product & Innovation Officer Dr. Adam Lowe took part in a panel discussion on Bitcoin self-custody at Bitcoin Conference 2023. Moderated by Kevin Loaec of Wizardsardine, the conversation featured panelists Lindsey Grossman, Business Lead at Block, NVK, CEO of Coinkite Inc., and Pascal Gauthier, Chairman & CEO of Ledger.
The panelist introduced the innovative products each company brings to market that aid with self-custody over your digital assets and went on to discuss user experience regarding self-custody hardware wallets, including the different compromises users need to be willing to make. They also commented on how the products that are currently on the market could be improved from a UX perspective.
The conversation also focused on the importance of choice and corporate transparency, to give users as much information as possible to empower them to have confidence in the companies they chose for self-custody products for their Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.The panelists touched on the future of the crypto industry, and whether all users should be all-in on self-custody, the benefits of other platforms, and use-cases of the ever-evolving Web3 ecosystem.
